Well I tried writing up a fanfiction based on the idea, but then my friends and I discovered a big problem: No DL-6 means no worthy prosecution.Oh sure, Payne's still there, but he's a wimp! No DL-6 means Diego's still a defense attorney, Miles becomes one, and Franzie is most likely on the road to becoming one. And Manfred is dead. So all that leaves is Klavier, but he isn't supposed to show up until GS4! Plus he becomes a prosecutor at 17, not twelve! But the idea still struck me as cute. And Franziska would still most likely be violent. Even if she doesn't have a whip, she could definitely pick up the "throwing stuff" habit from Diego, only throw them at both the judge AND the prosecution... and then get arrested for contempt of court and assault...
I think I'll just make Kristoph into a prosecutor just to make this work... I know he wasn't exactly affected by DL-6, but I feel uncomfortable trying to make up a new character...

OBJECTION! if there was no DL6 then Miles would never have been raised by the Von Karmas, which means that he would have had no influence on Franziska. Also I believe that Manfred would have insisted that Franziska (sp?) become a prosecutor just like him, Regardless of her wishes.

In my version of no DL-6, Gregory Edgeworth wins the case and Manfred commits suicide. Greg feels somewhat guilty (in the "I should have talked him out of rabid perfectionism" way) and decides to adopt the Von Karma sisters if they'll let him. The living Von Karmas let him have toddler Franziska, in spite of the older sister's protests, but they would not let him take said older sister (not that she would have willingly gone since she sees him as her father's murderer). And that's how No DL-6 Franzie ends up in the Edgeworth house. I have a number of art depicting the possibilities and I'm trying to make a fanfiction against my better judgement, but I keep getting stuck.

So...If No DL6 happened, then no one would have called Misty Fey, and then no one would have ruined the Fey family reputation, meaning Morgan Fey would have never divorced, meaning O_O...Dahlia would be living with the Feys plotting with Morgan to overthrow Misty...
And no Misty means no Mia as attorney, and no Mia as attorney means she would have never met Phoenix, which means Edgeworth would be defending Wright againist Dahlia with Raymon Shields as co-council.

Actually, Morgan's husband divorced her after finding out she wouldn't be inheriting the head position, so Dahlia still steals the diamond by setting up Terry Fawles. (But Misty around does mean that Mia is not an attorney. Morgan does try to set her up in another case like she had Maya in JFA case 2, and seeing the whole ugly business of family trying to off each other first hand, she decides she doesn't want to risk that with Maya or Pearl, so she surrenders her position and works at Armando, Edgeworth & Co. as the secretary.)
As for Raymond Shields, he branches off to start his own law firm because he felt he should stand on his own two feet rather than be dependent on Gregory Edgeworth forever.
I do have a long storyline planned out, it's just the individual cases that get me.

Poor, poor Edgey... You know, with the ridiculousness of the age of prosecutors in the games, I'm going to just say that this is definitely plausible... Also, Edgeworth is just as good-looking in a tie.

Still trying to work out all the details for mine. If I ever get it written. The main roadblock for me is that I feel like I'm just regurgitating what happened in several cases in the game with just a few changed background details.

I highly doubt no DL-6 would really affect Franziska at all... After all, had it not happened, chances are high Edgeworth never would have met her since she grew up in Germany.

Well the way No DL-6 works in my brain is that Gregory Edgeworth won that trial. And winning means everything to old Manfred, so after the defeat, he probably killed himself (sorry, Manny). And Greg probably felt responsible to some degree and went to Germany and took lil toddler Franzie in (okay I admit, I'm getting into farfetched territory...). And that's how it works in 21 3/7's fangirlism land. I just like playing with ideas and seeing what kind of laughs I can get from them.
