amg that description. all my feels. I know EXACTLY how you feel.
that's why I couldn't neccessarily open requests or do commissions probably because I prefer to put out what I feel and draw at that moment. Somehow I also like artists like this because you put out more material of how you feel and whatnot.

For me art is simply putting out how I feel. I put every emotion and vibe into what I want to draw because I want it to be the best for me (and then share to the watchers).
I didn't know seriously awesome artists like you also feel very unapproachable as well. This makes me personally feel really stressed and it sometimes doesn't help me when my watchers don't give me "feeback"/comment on what I do. When they do they give me re-assurance that what I'm doing is good/bad and it just fuels me for when I want to draw.

Also, more about the picture now (lol), I feel I really like this piece not only because of the color or shading (etc.) but also because of the message you wrote yourself~

Hahaha, I know what you mean. It's not selfish, some people just want to draw what they want, and don't want to be bothered by interfering requests. |D
Yeah, I like to take requests once in a while, but most of the times it's nicer to do what you please~

You're not unapproachable at all LOL, I find an intellectual like you really fun to talk to, actually. despite not being an intellectual myself, just look at how spazzy my comments are

ANYWAY, this is a pretty nice piece to look at. A bit messier than your previous pieces, but still delicious regardless.
I've always liked this monochrome/blue-tinted color scheme of yours. Although I think it's getting a bit... overused? /:'D

I really like the flowiness of her hair though! Especially with those contrasting white streaks over there.
It's a nice combination of everything here. Great job.

Woah this is beautiful!! Looks like something out of a Vocaloid video or something xD Is that a particular OC of yours? And honey I totally and completely understand what you're going with that. Sometimes when I take writing requests and that it feels like more work for me and takes time away from my own projects. I almost feel like I'm working for other people without getting anything in return. It's tough and sometimes I wish I don't take requests at all unless its from friends, not a random stranger popping up on my page. That's good you enjoy drawing to the fullest when you draw for yourself! That shows how good of an artist you are, you draw because you love it, not because you're trying to please someone. That my dear shows me just how wonderful of a person you are and how much you put into all your lovely artwork Keep that mindset about art dear, many artists need to learn that.
