Synopsis:

However, she has heard one of them call another "Dolchak", which, she discovers, is the name of an orderly at a hospital. When she goes there to investigate, she is chloroformed by one of the gang. Black Canary awakens to find herself tied to a table in front of Ursus, the man-bear, who is bound to a wall, with the three men and a surgically-masked villain called The Doctor before her. The Doctor gives Ursus an injection which will both madden him and, he thinks, make him a slave to the Doctor's commands, intending to have Ursus kill Black Canary. But Ursus knocks the Doctor down, giving the Canary time to free herself.
