>Personality: Ty's a sweet southern belle. She's a shy girl, and after her last private school experience she has become very lonesome. She is fearful of anyone, especially girls. She just keeps to her books and herself. No matter how much she wants to be friends with people, she's too scared.
>History: As a child, Tyra was a southern belle princess. Her wealthy family gave her everything she ever wanted and more. When Tyra was older, she was sent off for a better education than what she could get from her hometown. The school of choice was an all girls' academy of Arceus. The first year was fine, the second year not so much. She and her friends got picked on by their upper classmates. So one day, Tyra stood her ground to them and ended up in a bit fight. During the fight, her horn was broken. She had to go to the hospital. Her horn was smoothed down and is now much smaller compared to a normal Rapidash. Her doctor said it will never grow to be what it once was, but one day it will be larger. After that, Tyra was taken out of the girl's school and home schooled til she was well enough to be sent to another school. This time not an all girls' school.

Tyra stood in front of a lemonade machine, digging through her change purse. Once she had gotten enough coins, Ty pushed them in and waited for her drink to tumble down. But sadly it didn't. She sighed heavily, "More bad luck..." She began to fumble through her change purse again for more coins hoping she had enough. Her tail twitched a bit with the breeze in the air, her mind only focused on getting something to drink so she could go back to her hiding spot.

Sammy walked around campus after waking up from a relaxing nap. As usual, he felt patched and decided to get something to drink. It was then he noticed a girl struggling with her purse, he walked over to try and save the day. "Problem?"

Tyra almost had enough and was excitedly moving her tail. "85, 95-" She heard someone talk and glanced over to the noise scared. How could someone have snuck up on her. She panicked a bit and ended up dropping her coin purse. Her heart sank when she looked down at her mess of coins, "Oh goodness... even more bad luck." She sighed a bit then remembered someone was there, "Oh I'm sorry. You can use the machine first if you want." She said moving away from him, her hands close to her chest, shaking from nerves.

Cute, Sammy thought to himself. He bent over and helped the Rapidash girl pick up her coins. "Here." He handed her the coins, then turned to look at the machine. He put money in and waited for the drink to come out. It didn't. "What the...?"

Her cheeks turned rosy at the kindness and accepted her coins back, stuffing them into the little red purse. He was pretty nice for a guy, but she still felt nervous. She waited for him to finish using the machine so she could purchase another drink, but tilted her head when no drinks came out for the raichu. "It ate my coins as well... I wonder if it's jammed or something." She said rather softly. She brought her fingers to her lip and looked around for a teacher, maybe they could fix it. "I'll go look for someone."

Before she left, Sammy kicked the machine. "Stupid machine!" He kicked it repeatedly until the drinks fell out. He reached into the slot and handed it to her. "I take it that this is yours?"

Tyra had gotten down, covering her head after the raichu had kicked the machine. She muttered something softly to herself as she waited for silence. Her heart was racing but she built up enough courage to look at him. The loud aggressive action had frightened her terribly. "huh? oh... yes..." She tried to stand, more scared of the guy now than before. "uh.... thank you..."

Sammy raised a brow, wondering if he scared her. "You alright sugar? " He asked with actual concern.

Tyra nodded quickly, "I'm fine..." She was just shaken up. "You just... gave me a fright is all. Loud noises make me a bit nervous." She confessed quietly. Her eyes couldn't even look at him, and her hands were still shaking while holding the can of lemonade.

"Sorry, I didn't know sugar." Sammy frowned a little. He openEd his can of lemonade. "I'm Sammy by the way"

Ty shook her head quickly, "No no, it's fine. Please don't apologize." She started down at her own lemonade. Part of her feeling awkward, the other part wanting to run away. Her violet eyes glanced up at him, "Uh? Sammy? It's a pleasure. My name is Tyra." She said then politely curtsied as she had always done.

She brushed some hair from her face and nodded. She shifted her weight to the other foot, "Just arrived in the morning..."

"Well lucky me..." He chuckled. "I mean lucky you. A new school must be an exciting experience." He said before taking a sip out of his lemonade.

She looked back at him tilting her head a bit, confused by the first statement. But ignored it and shook her head. "No... I'm not lucky at all. I've had nothing by back luck for the last few months." She said and tapped her can. She wanted to drink it, but her body was pretty much frozen in place.

This intrigued him. "Bad luck? What kind of bad luck?" Sammy took another sip from his drink and casually got closer to her.

Tyra noticed his moment and pulled her hands closer to her chest. "Just some bad luck.... like not getting my drink... and dropping my coin bag."

"Trust me it gets better. A little misfortune isn't always so bad. I met you cause of it right?" He winked and chuckled.

Ty looked right into his eyes when he winked and turned rosy pink in the cheeks. "Well... I..." She drifted away putting the cold drink to her face to cool down. "I guess if you put it that way...."

Sammy chugged the last of his drink and crushed it. He looked for a recycling bin but only spotted on that was somewhat far from them. He made a gesture towards the recycling bin and said, "walk with me?"

Tyra looked to the recycling bin, and unconsciously nodded, "Sure." It didn't hit her til she left her spot what she had done. She kept her distance as they walked, keeping her hands close to her chest. She felt so odd walking with him and not saying anything, but she was unable to find the words to speak.

As they walked, Sammy kept sneaking glances at her every few seconds. "You're not really the talking type are you?" He asked.

Ty shook her head, "Um, no it's not that." She was able to mumble out. "I just don't know what to say..." She blushed from embarrassment.

"Oh well that's easy, you can start with telling me a little about yourself." Sammy grinned. He dropped the can into the recycling bin and kept on walking. "I mean I could start, as you know I'm Sammy. Last name's Cameron." He began. "I'm not that smart in the head but I make up for it in pure manliness." He flexed his right arm and chuckled. He looked back at Tyra. "You?"

Tyra kept her distance but still stood close enough to converse with him. "Oh..." She giggled a bit at his description of himself. For the first time she actually smiled. But it faded just as quickly as it appeared. She tapped her lip with the edge of the can thinking of an answer. "Tyra Rohan is my full name. But my friends used to call me Ty." Her violet eyes looked to her hands for a brief moment, "Um... I'm really scared of people.... so I spin most of my time with books." She glanced back at him, hoping that was good enough.

The rapidash nodded as she watched the ground so she wouldn't trip. "Oh... I-" She stopped and looked at him. A surprised look on her face. She adjusted her glasses and bit her lip before once again nodding. "I... I guess that's okay."

He grinned and ran his fingers through his hair. "Awesome." He then stuffed his hands in his pockets and glanced at her. "You afraid of me Ty?"

Her eyes were focused on her hands when he asked. She seemed unsure in how to answer that question. Her tail twitched as one hand reached up and touched the tips of her hair. "Uh... honestly... I'm afraid of everyone." Her words softer than before.
