Ugh, you know, this is why I wish I could draw things that weren't dumb. Because a guy reading a bedtime story to his dead son's empty bed REALLY DOES NOT TRANSLATE WELL into my stupid, cartoony, can't-draw-furniture style. So uh, pretend this is better, because I really like the concept. (I do kind of love the little Hufflepuff banner back there though.)Title's from "Race You to the Top of the Morning" from The Secret Garden, which isn't really quite as depressing a song as I make it out to be when I apply it to things like this, but a lot of the lyrics just work eerily well with this kind of thing and I can't dissociate the song from the thought of Amos and Cedric anymore.
