Description Commissioned for a friends Birthday. 11th January. Hence the use of Saturn as the planet of Capricorn. I painted the largest of Saturn's moons. And the bright sun like nebula was my artistic license at work, but it sort of looks like a fish, canary, or scorpion and this is how my title was conceived. The lovely lady who commissioned this work for her husband is a Scorpio so I thought it seemed significant and appropriate. Happy Birthday Dan. I hope you like it!

Acrylic ink and silver gouache on canvas 20 x 20inches finished off with several layers of varnish.

beautiful composition to me it seems pretty hard to create such a work, to make it look realistic and not too fictional and you really did an excellent job here! I especially like the little blurry blue-white clouds
