“Love Birds”
Tyrannosaurus rex. An acrylic painting of Helushka (right), a male Tyrannosaurus, nuzzling with his longtime mate, Barda.
Besides a piece done in the buildup to Valentine’s Day 2024, I wanted to showcase the sexual dimorphism in my Tyrannosaurus designs and some social behavior that did not involve intraspecific conflict.
Completed in early February 2024.
Done using acrylics, color pencils, and Photoshop 2021.
