Love the use of black and white, even though there is some color in here.
If you don't mind I would like to save it as a reference, I've been looking at different methods for doing digital comic/manga backgrounds. Most that wind up printed black and white -and look at little dull.
But your use of such dark grays and blacks against the white know is very bold and dynamic, it's awesome

Those knights look great. They really fit in the snowy atmosphere of this painting....The way you painted the rocks is mind blowing.

Well I don't have any name for them but For the ground I used to paint with texture brush and then erase it with the same brush and the ground is what's left of it
