there a reason they say Scorpia never forgives...and a reason that is the hookline of the book too

Jacks death really caught me off guard, she's just one of those lovable side-kick ish characters who get spared the blunt of the action and then Anthony just goes ahead and off's her.Β

.... in real life, death is possibility at any time... and a certainty in everyone's lifetime...Β

I love everything about the Alex Rider series, except for the fact that Jack dies. I just can't believe the author would do that to her of all people.

Very good.
Anthony Horowitz wanted to make the Alex Rider series as close to real life as possible, where people die and being a spy isn't the best job in the world, the general idea behind Alex Rider was a more realistic teenage James Bond
So I understand why he did it

The portrayal is realistic...
except everything happened in the space of one year...

I don't normally cry when I see artwork, but when I do, it's because of feels from character deaths.

I still can't believe Horowitz killed off that character!

Neither can I. Jack was aΒ character who never deserved any of this. She only wanted to make sure Alex was alright when she went with him, and then this happened...

when I read that part, I seriously said constantly "nooooo...." the entire time, because I just couldn't believe what had happened.
This is very well done, keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for the comment! This scene nearly 'broke' me,... as i imagined Alex would have felt.(Not as much as much as when the the explosion was shown to Alex.. that one was .... well, felt like my viscera were torn apart)
Glad you approve of my version...although, I am wondering how this scene will look in the graphic novel of this series...
