Description [link]

Orion's Belt Buckle holds the stars in place within the void, and also has the duty of holding Orion's pants in place. The only problem is that these days, Orion hardly ever wears pants. He figures no one would notice.

"Who notices the stars these days," he says, "with the internet, twitter, and instant coffee."

Orion's Belt Buckle is made with recycled watch gears and parts removed from old watches and reassembled into something new, special, and one-of-a-kind. Each gear is hand placed and soldered with lead-free silver bearing solder (no hot glue or any glue allowed here!) Each piece has its own story and place in the world of A Mechanical Mind...no two pieces will ever be the same!

Orion's Belt Buckle is 20mm wide by 20mm tall and comes on an overall 16" (40 cm) antiqued squared cable chain with links measuring approximately 1.1 mm each. The chain may be made longer or shorter depending on your preference...please note this in the comments section when ordering if you are in need of a different size!

I love the hint of astrolabe look.

And interesting story. Though if he's not wearing any pants there ought to be more stars up there...
