Description American actor, producer and musician. He has won the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild award for Best Actor. Depp rose to prominence on the 1980s television series 21 Jump Street, becoming a teen idol. Turning to film, he played the title character of Edward Scissorhands (1990) and later found box office success in films such as Sleepy Hollow (1999), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Rango (2011) and the Pirates of the Caribbean film series (2003–present). He has collaborated with director and friend Tim Burton in seven films, most recently with Alice in Wonderland (2010).

i thought it was one of his best. its quirky yes but having grown up in Kansas i feel it has a sort of truth to it. iv known people like that carecter my own family has some similar people in it

Love the pic, amazing likeness. My favourite actor and probably always will be His diversity on the screen, and the fact that directors and writers actually let him change his characters around a bit to be more to HIS liking are proof that he's one of the greatest! I laughed when I heard that Jack Sparrow was originally supposed to be a typical "ARR" pirate, but Johnny said "I'd rather do it this way instead", and they just said "Sure!"
