It was so nice to take a break from all the images I owe everyone and just paint something I wanted to paint. And I wanted to paint a nearly-naked-neko-gal dagnabit!Reference used. Background texture saved from original page it was drawn on.

Niiiiice. I dreamt I had a dred coming from there, It actually looked kinda like that, but was about twice as long, and I could control it like a limb or monkey tail. Aww yeah.
Shading on the upper body and hips in particular is approaching that sub surface scatter look - definitely improving there!
Would be better to have a longer shadow under the torso to sell the twist off the ground a bit more. The edge should also in that case be blurrier there. Groood!

Interested about the shadow- could you doodle over it and show me next time I'm on msn? She's meant to be flat on the ground the whole way, is it not right?
