Thank you! It's such an old piece I forgot about it... Of course I think you go to easy on it. lol ^^
But I must mention that on one of the specials the 10th doctor does wear a bow tie. This drawing is just a copy of one of the promotional photos for it.

I had already faved this piece, but every time I see it in a gallery I want to look at it again! What better reason to write a critique?! I'm struck by the way you were able to capture his expression. You managed to give him that look of quiet sadness this Doctor seemed to have. I think you've really caught the Doctor's essence.
The pose he's in is also so wonderfully portrayed here, with the lines and your shading accenting his slightly rounded shoulders. The shading of his jacket and pants is lovely. Overall the picture has a kind of 'soft' quality to it, which gives it a feeling of nostalgia, I think. In that sense I think it is very original!
By way of critique, if rendering this myself, I might have blended some of the grainier parts of his jacket and pants a bit more, to create a slightly smoother look. Personal preference only. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
I like your choice in keeping the background white - his form and shadow stand out perfectly. Your work on his trainers is excellent - they are so wonderfully scuffed - I can imagine him having run over many worlds in them!!!
