Boring is what I would never call this image, its beautiful, one doesn't need an exotic look, position or backdrop to have an appeal to the eyes.

No doubt. Experience tells me however that most people do skip right over these shots. Not that I mind much ... or that it will keep me from doing them. But it helps to have realistic expectations when it comes to the opinion of the wider viewing public.
