Not even I saw this one coming.offered for a collaboration the other day, and knowing how much I admire his own gallery , this was not something I was going to refuse. Turns out is learning some 3d, this is only exciting, and he's already produced this exquisite render.
So essentially, he then asked me to create a backdrop for this. I saw in my head a sort of "movieposter" theme so went with that. We both like what it's finished with. It's something fresh. I hope to do many more collabs with
One thing you will all notice is that this is ALMOST totally grayscale. This is something I've tried before, but failed at. I debated the idea a few days ago, and turns out he1z had the same idea, except together we've got it to work fairly well. You may or may not like it, but it's something not many people attempt... so it's always worth a go.

Thats really good. Love the clouds there, they work very well indeed. Even though the picture is all black and white that green parts give another feel to images to.

Nice job! I've always wanted to see you do something in monocrhome, this is a great example! I love the high contrast, however there is one point where I don't think it works as well. That would be the line between the cumulonimbus clouds and the planet, which (even though the effect was almost certainly intentional), I feel needs atmosphere behind it. Other than that, nice job!

dude, I totally dig the fact that it's greyscale, it's a hell of a lot more moody and impressive this way, with just the very small suggestion of colour drawing attention to the figure (which otherwise might get lost!) ^_^ - this is cool ALyn, possibly one of my favorites of yours todate.

I love the contrast in the textures. Softness in the foreground and much more textured in the background, which adds a surreal edge to this, as most things are the other way around.
