Oh, no, I like this one better than the other one. It's a lot brighter and the eyes are emphasized more.
I like this kinda style a lot; it's so pretty and looks like it takes more skill than the typical big, round-eyed anime girl style.

The hair and eyes are so detailed! The eyes make her look very soft and caring.
The only thing I think could be different is her left cheek seems to be sticking out a little far. But other than that, superb job.

Pretty! I really like the shading. I also really like how you can tell that her eyebrows are actually made of hair, instead of a solid line of color.
