She seems so much more 'human' when she's portrayed as someone who's a talented leader and whose personality is confidant instead of standoffish. I don't know what this comic is going to be about, but I like it already.

I'm extremely impressed with your drawing style. It flows together with so little apparant effort. It sort of reminds me of a combination of manga (Japanese-style comics) and the Archie-comics Sonic the hedgehog comic that I've been obsessed with for year. Your characterization of Diamond Tiara is perfect. You've managed to emulate her annoying prissy arrogance while still making the relationship between Silver Spoon and DT an awosme "awww" moment. Great job all around.

Being a huge manga and comics reader myself, the art style seems to have flowed into a combination of both indeed. I really like the coloring on Sonic the hedgehog comics, even though I have only briefly read these comics. Maybe I will read some more of them.
As an artist new to the writing part of comics, your approval on the flow and the characterization of my work makes me want to jump from happiness.

Your most welcome. I've always been of the belief that artists should support each other in their endevours and good art (like yours) should be celebrated. One of the things that movtivates me most to write is when I comments about how much people like my work. I may not be able to draw and paint, but I was raised in a family with strong respect in all forms of the classical arts such as music, painting,writing, etc. That being said, it doesn't take Ph.D in art to know the difference between the crudely drawn comics I've seen other do and the mastery of colors, shapes and lines and dialog that you do. As famous fictional character once said: "We will be following your exploits with great interest."

Beauty pageants are a controversial topic today. It has it's fare share of both pros and cons. We should also remember that the "drama" we see around such contests on TV is often a big exaggeration to raise their ratings.
What happens in real life depends a lot on the parents' attitude, how well those contest is organized and upon which standards the kids' performances are judged.
Have you been to a beauty contest? If you ask someone who has been to one, their opinion will vary according to their experience.
Kids can get a confidence boost and make new friends by participating in beauty pageants. They can also learn about dealing with both success and failures. Most of it depends on patenting.
I guess every one has to decide for themselves.
