Yay Vivian! Probably my favourite Mario character. Definitely my favourite character from Paper Mario. x3Funny thing; I actually drew this picture BEFORE seeing this video~

To sum things up, they've prooved that in the original translation, Vivian is stated to be transgendered! I love this, mostly just because they actually treat Vivian like a legitamate character and you can identify with her. ♥ In most media, sexually ambiguous characters are something of a comic relief or oddity, so it's lovely to see a transgendered character being taken so seriously. I just love Vivian. I love her even more now that I know how brave she is!

Vivian is not transgendered she is a girl it says at the end with goombella she is being called a man by her sisters because they are being mean to her not because she is one for some reason people take shit too literally like if your called a dog because they want to call you ugly does not mean you are literally a dog.

You're an idiot. It clearly states in the original translation of the game that Vivian is a woman. Maybe try cleaning the shit out of your ears so when you watch the video you actually hear what's being said. Yes, in the translated game there's no proof of her ever being a man, but the Japanese came first and therefore is will true, despite being ret-conned for the international release, for obvious reasons, like block heads like you. Do me a favour and don't bother commenting on my artwork if you just want to act like a fool.

It's funny how you feel the need to try to insult me about something so trivial you are quite the easily infuriated girl. Also the cannon of one country is not necessarily the same since there is nothing about it in the American version it is not cannon here. I still stand by what I said that it's not cannon there ether it's a mistranslation because you people cannot understand Japanese pronouns. I clearly cited in the artist comments that I was using DYKG as my reference by linking to them. If you want to dispute their facts, by all means, take it up with them. Considering their fame on the internet, however, I can only assume they do their research.
And, even if the canon of the two games was different, I never said anything in the artist comments to indicate that I was specifically talking about the North American release of TYD and even THEN it doesn't matter because it's never comfirmed that Vivian is male or female, only hinted at or observed by other parties such as Goombella's statement or the jeers of her sisters so even THEN your argument still isn't valid.
AND yes. Yes you are a fucking idiot. I'm not ashamed to say it. You are fucking stupid and should probably work on having an actual life and not posting uninformed bullshit all over people's artwork like some squealing rodent looking for attention. Have fun sorting things out with DYKG about their 'mistranslation'. I'm sure they'll be fascinated to have you prove them wrong.
