I like how the "after" picture seems to stand out more, the colours look more solid the lineart helped with that too
I also like how the "before" picture had a bit more shading in, it makes the picture look non-flat but not TOO realistic either ^^
Don't be afraid to add more shadings into your art 
also it's only been about 5 months away right? you still got lots of time to improve @U@ What I see are some NICE improvements on the head ^^ your body anatomy still looks the same BUT i THINK ITS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
Ofc you don't HAVE to follow what I say, because YOUR have your OWN style and if you like the way it is now ofc everyone else would love it ^^

yeah, the thing is with my shading :/ i don't know how to get it right ahah, im still practicing on it XD but it never ends up looking nice ; u ;
