The tendrils on its head tentacles resemble fingers. Is this creature at least semi-sapient, like an octopus or dolphin? The short flippers make me think it occasionally lounges on rocky outcroppings in the sun, or live in groups like elephant seals on atolls with no predators to attack them while they laze about on the beach. The armored worm alien has similar legs, so maybe it is a relative, maybe even a carnivore that is adapted to hunt them?
