Return of the personal work. Birds'n fish'n scrutiny! 'cept maybe a little strange. Not quite sold on the expressions, but...well, 's still not my strong point. @_@...I'm reasonably sure that some things here are floating, and some things are not. Yikes! Nebulous world.

I think I'm just biased when it comes to digital pieces because most of the ones I see aren't well executed, but yours are. And, in comparison to traditional works, digital lacks texture. Your work is awesome, though

Ah, thanks! I wanted to spend more time rendering on my personal work, 'cause I always have to rush for week-long illustration assignments.
Umm, the time has been fluctuating a lot recently. Anywhere between 5-11 hours, depending on how fast it comes together or how much time is before the deadline.

I love this! The detail is superb. And even if the bird is supposed to be scary, the fluffy feathers make me want to pet it more than actually staring at it in horror

Wow, loving the mood and feel of this piece. The grungy texture makes it feel slightly innocent and nostalgic, yet there is that curiosity between the two creatures. The floaty feathers/fins are so cool too. Great work, detailed and cool!
