Epic composition is epic! I really like it; it doesn't look off-kelter or anything. You did a fantastic job detailing the feathers and like always, I just love all the colors you've included in this piece. There's some beaaaautiful water in that pitcher, there.

Ah, many thanks. I had to do an overhaul of the colors between the original and this revised copy, so I'm relieved that the final is being enjoyed. And you understood the tricky composition! Thank goodness. I was having problems where people weren't quite sure what was going on, gaaaah.

Awww you're serious? I wouldn't have thought! I interpreted it relatively easily, so I dunno where the problem is. Despite all of the editing you had to do beforehand, though, I still say this is just awwwesome.

Well I'm really no good at illustration, so uh.... my opinion is like, 1/4th of an opinion.
Also, illustration seems tough!

I love the bird's-eye view!
Is this the fable where the crow gets its head stuck? Or is that another one?

Thanks!
Ahaha, I think that may be a different one. Sounds painful, ouch. In The Crow and the Pitcher, a thirsty crow happens upon a pitcher with water in it. Unfortunately, the water level is too low for him to drink. Being the clever crow he is, he fills the pitcher with some nearby pebbles until the water is high enough to drink from.
Kind of a neat little fable~

Sorry for late reply XD
Ooh, I think I messed up my fables, because what you described sounds MUCH more familiar XD
It's the "necessity is the mother of invention" one, right?

Nah, don't worry about it. I'm forever behind on correspondence myself!
Yep, I think that's the one~

This is pretty cool. I didn't understand the angle at first, but when I saw it, I went "oh!"

Yah, I was worried how it would read. I guess I might have to go a little more traditional next time, to avoid confusion!
