This was a really cool episode.Simply put...Discord, villain from beginning of season 2, is returned to normal so that Celestia can use him for some macguffin reason, idk , and she appoints Fluttershy to reform him.
The result is what I would have done. If I was a horse. With wings. A..and...female...ok, this got really weird. Anyway, Fluttershy at one point mentions that she and Discord are friends. This, of course, touches Discord, as he mentions that he never had one before. In the end, Discord has to make a choice, continue his chaotic behavior for his own selfish needs, or continue the friendship that Fluttershy began.
Oh, and the last line he mutters, "Friendship is magic" is so silly, you can't help but smile.
But this is the last thing you see before the camera closes out, and I thought to myself, "Oh boy, here comes the fan fic stuff". I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but the way they're both looking at each other...kinda creepy.
I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's just a matter of opinion.

people complained about this ep quite a bit, but the way i see it, if you wanted more discord (like me) they only had two options; they ether make him a lame reoccurring villain, or put him on the side of "good". the only complaint i had was how they sort of threw the ending at you, it should have been a two parter. as for the shipping, i seen it coming a mile away, im surprised people didnt put them together after his first appearance when he tried and failed to use his powers on her. and this pic is awesome i didnt notice how awkward every one is, like they can all hear the ship sailing in (and any one else notice dash's wings?)

I love the screencap you used for this. I've already seen jokes about Celestia's face at this point, but I didn't get a chance to look at the other ponies' as well. It's so adorably awkward looking. Perfect for the strange new ship.
