Here's some characters, definitely a weak area of mine at the moment. More or less a combination of WWI and mafia.

A team of four, each with their own specialties, each with their own skills.
Individually, they can only go so far but as a four man team they are more then capable in the long run.
Trader:charismatic, negotiable, diplomatic capitalist and translator. Is capable in melee, but can use falsehoods and bribes to avoid shootouts.
Brute:violent in ambushes, medium ranged gunfights and flanking. Most detriments barely affect him. With all the weight, defense is the default.
Specialist:assassination, infiltration and reconnaissance. Can fight for long periods, and set up defenses, entrenchments and traps. Perches are optimal.
Wanderer: jack of all trades, master of none. Engineer, basic medical experience and good at close to medium range fighting. can scout and hunt.

It looks like the specialist's gun is a cross-breed between a Garand M-1 and a Springfield 1903.

Yeh! I can see you going all the way, if you made this game you could launch a whole new fandom or even an entire new style type that could rival steampunk. Keep doing what your doing I know you'll go far if you meet the right people.

Heh, do not say twice ... Have you heard of Pen and Paper Role Play Games?Β I'm indie author ofΒ three own RPG worlds and I maked too my RPG rules system, which is based on simplicity and play of freeform that is open too for beginners. (But I created only in czech language)
