I personally like this costume alot its a great mix of old school and new and it displays the perfection of Wonder Woman and what she stands for which is, strength, courage, might, wil, Beautiful sexy goddess that she is ok so she isn't half naked but hell she is still just as hot here if not better and she still kicks ass Wonder Woman will always be the mightiest Heroine of all time no other female can top her AMAZON FOREVER !!!!

i personally like this costume it not only have some old school mixed with new but it shows class and displays just what wonder woman represents and sexy, strength, power, brawn's and just straight up the goddess she is love it and this pose is right on as well

I actually like her new outfit it is utilitarian, and works with what she is going through.
She has to be stealthy and her sisters are in hiding because there are some losers trying to off them all, so she really cannot be hopping around in a red white and blue American flag bathing suit! Also it is nice to see her in an outfit that is not so USA. Wonder Woman is cosmopolitain and she belongs to the WORLD!

as long as her character and story remain intact, I think thats the most important. This outfit is an interesting take on a modern wonder woman and I must say I do appreciate how this outfit is a bit more believable, I can picture her being active in this , it more practical than older outfits.
The image of the classic american hero we all know is still there, she's just changing just as the United States has. Fans shouldn't get too upset as long as DC remembers the core of their characters and what they represented when they were created then all will be well.
I really enjoy your work by the way, it makes for a great cover.

I know you have nothing to do with the new design of the outfit, but I'm sure you're getting the brunt of displeasure in comments. Sorry about that. Still, I can't help but wonder was DC was thinking. DC has three iconic heroes you don't touch. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. You look at the other two and every time they tried to mess with the outfits, the fans sorta forced them back to versions of the original look. I feel history is going to repeat itself here. The outfit isn't bad. BUT it isn't anywhere near the legend that her original look was. The outfit doesn't make a person in real life, but in comics were visuals are a major factor they do. Wonder Woman needs her spankys.
That being said, I love your picture. I just felt the need to vent. No insult intended towards you!

No worries. I do take in a lot of outrage over it but I can't take it too seriously because it's really not a serious issue. It's just a costume and costumes change all the time. Character and story are what's important.

Please forgive my rantings, I'm not in the hip young demographic that comic books shoot for, I'm just a woman approaching middle age that's seeing her childhood hero being "reinvented" and feeling outraged by the results, so perhaps the costume change is a serious issue for some people.

I love the new costume. I'm sorry, but the old one looks too much like a bathing suit and it's too easy to have unintentional Wonder Woman pornography. I prefer this costume simply because it respects the character more. (Though that cannot entire be said for the leather jacket. My excuse for liking that is this: leather rocks; Wonder Woman freaking ROCKS... It works out.) Plus, people just evolve... I love this costume. Bravo.

It makes me sad what is being done with Wonder Woman. The whole changing of her origin and giving her a "21st century look" is degrading to this character whom I grew up with, and slapping a leather jacket and pants on her just to make young people think it's cool feels like a cheap ploy.
I've read Wonder Woman for years, but I don't think I will read it again until after this story line is over. If this isn't a temporary thing, than I may never read it again.

I like that it's something new, but Wonder Woman is something else entirely. To me this costume doesn't capture her spirit. She's the most famous female superhero in the world, like Superman her costume is iconic and doesn't need to be revamped.
That said, I love the look. This take on Wonder Woman is very cool and this venture into new territory will definitely make me buy my first Wonder Woman comic. I just don't want it to replace the original completely.

As I've already acknowledged, it's great art from Alex but it's still a train wreck of an outfit. And if you don't believe me, why is it that Deviant Art, and indeed any of the other comic art communities and forums still over flowing with artwork depicting Diana in her classic costume?
Funny that hardly any of the new art or commissions show her in this bland, generic and instantly out of fashion costume by Mr. Lee. That to me speaks volumes. People want their Wondy the way she was meant to be. Just ask Cathy Lee Crosbie....
