I have seen a lot of your snowflakes in groupings on tumblr, I'm glad I know the source now! I love these images, I've been going to tumblr to look at them when I feel a little down (it hasn't snowed here yet and I'm starting to think it's going to be a green Christmas) and the pictures always make me smile. Hmm... you ever see really fuzzy white snowflakes? I've seen that kind of snow at least twice, but didn't have my camera available during them. Those types of snowflakes would probably be interesting to see up close.

Thanks! Yes, with warm weather, snowflakes often covered by rime. It may looks as ice bubbles covered surface of snowflake, and sometimes that rime so strong that snowflake resembles white pillow and completely opaque.

Oh! I saw some of these pictures on a website a few weeks ago and it inspired me to try a few snowflake shots of my own. They obviously didn't look anything like this, but it was still fun.
