Its the christmas gift for my best friend , who has ,although we never met in RL, proven alot more loyality and friendship then someone else before.

I figured out that there might be more explanation needed

Therefore there is a lot of meaning in this piece. Like the babyphoenix who is kept in a save shell comforted by the phoenix queen.
Therefore her only living is in guiding and protecting the small phoenix untill he is grown up, until it is her time to return to the ashes.
Like friendship it is a neverending giving and taking.

I also tried to show this in the embroidery on her headress - the tear drops are aswell part of the phoenix mythology- since it is said that those tears can mend every wound.

And yes, its wanted that there is a lot of symetrical stuff in that piece- since I wanted it to have a stylised look.
