hello,

do you see architecture like that? are those photos faithfull to the object? Do it create the idea of space? or it is just a play with 2D geometry? Is architecture abstract?

Hey,

I think nor architecture neither a photo is something abstract, but the process in between is. You search for shapes which seem to be harmonic and you cover it with the textures which your camera records.
Well, maybe it becomes abstract again in the eyes of the viewer.

A photo cannot be faithful to the object, it always underlies your personal extract of the reality, it is manipulation, right?

So, I see architecture like that, but just on one level of perception. There are many more aspects which affect your emotions towards a building like historical influences, usage and your cultural background.

What are your statements?
