This was it, Gyra thought fingering her long tresses in the mirror, there was no going back after this. She loosly twirled a small section and pulled tight, bringing the freshly sharpened blade up to the golden brown twist and cut down once, twice, three times.
The freed strands felt oddly fluid in her grasp, heavy. She bound it up with twine and set it on top. She looked oddly lopsided, but the short hair seemed to suit her. She ran fingers through the freshly croped locks, reveling in the crisp softness and the cool breaze that met her scalp. Refreshing.
This was't mearly a haircut for the girl, no, this was the start of a new life, a new identity. This was Gyra Blackwell's first step to becoming Lorcan Blackthorn.

So lip bitting, it is the first time I tried doing this in a drawing, so I hope it turned out~

If you ever cut you hair with a knife (as I have done) here are a few tips. 1) Make sure the blade is sharp, and I mean, really sharp (otherwise you're sawing away and it really hurts XD) (2) Cut away from your body and your Neck! I can't tell you how many pictures I saw were people had the blade facing their presscious arteries, or stupidly close to a wrist! Noooo! That's stupid! Hair is much tougher to cut through than you might anticipate and you don't want to cut through more than hair!
