As a photographer I always see the picture first and the model second (I hope that makes sense). Composition, depth of field and all those other artistic and technical things that compose the photo are important but it's the model who will bring soul and feeling to the photo. Camilla is fantastic. It's a great collaboration but substitute me for Camilla and you got nothing. Don't get me wrong, I love the picture, too, like the way her face stands out from the shadows, the out of focus trail of white and the rawness of black and white that strips away all the connotations of color. This is what happens when two creative forces join together.
