Design and production by the creative team Katanada studio: Mushkin A.I., Belikov A.S., Mushkina E.V.
The manufacturer of the musical cocoon is Reuge, Switzerland.

Material: brass, silver, cupronickel, wood; details of antique items: musical instruments, kerosene lamps, door handles, chandeliers, piano candlesticks, cutlery, binoculars, cup holders. Central part: oil painting on a blackboard.
Total weight: 21 kg.
Dimensions: 1130 x 20 x 1270 cm.

It took more than three years to create the triptych "GOLDEN CITY". This is a complex volumetric composition with dynamic elements that includes not only sound (built-in musical cocoon by Reuge), painting on an old board, but also working mechanisms of manual assembly, which essentially makes the art object a kinetic sculpture. This project implemented 8 different principles of mechanical gears, invented and used since the time of Leonardo Da Vinci. Da Vinci gear, Archimedes screw, cam mechanism, ball pendulum and other mechanisms. On the right side of the triptych there is a self-valuable art object: Dragon, with wings made of brass mesh and delicate scales. Ballista in the square shoots a miniature spear. At night in the city, in houses and towers, lights come on. And then miniature interiors in palaces and towers become visible.
