Gigi, trying to be as motherly as possible convinced Mitsuki to attend summer school, after accepting a position as a summer school student herself. On a particularly hot end-of-June day, Gigi comes home to Miyuki's place, drenched in sweat as the weather was brutal. Feeling tired, she plops down on a chair, takes off her shoes, and relaxes by a small battery operated fan. Having cooled off, she drifts into her musical library, unaware that Mitsuki had come home earlier than she anticipated.

Mitsuki is immediately horrified at a strong, musky smell that seems to engulf the atmosphere of the room. She is perplexed at the source of the smell, could it really be coming from her mom? She draws closer and finds it to be true, and calls out to her, but her mom's ear buds are lodged in well, and the music is far too loud for normal calls to get her attention. She raises her voice and her mom stirs from her musical trance.

Mitsuki immediately complains about the odor, making Gigi blush and apologize profusely, and getting up to go change and wash.
