When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 Spellcaster monster or Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand, that specifically lists the card "Dark Magician" in its text. During your opponent's Battle Phase: Send this card you control or in your hand to the GY, and if you do, choose up to 3 Spell/Trap that specifically lists the card "Dark Magician" in its text from your Deck. Special Summon the chosen Spell/Trap as Normal Monsters (Spellcaster/DARK/Level 7/ATK 500/DEF 500) in face-down Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Master of Dark Illusions" once per turn.

If Kaiba uses De-Fusion to split a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon for a finishing blow, this card in Yugi's (or Arcana's/Pandora's) hand would be thee solution. Even better if used and then followed up with Dark Renewal.
