For various reasons, I'm now making my comics 50% larger than I used to, which seems to fix the moire problems when I scale them down. (Or at least make them inconsequential.)~~~~~~~~~~
This is exactly what it says on the tin: If Jack Harkness (from Doctor Who and Torchwood) can't die -- well, strictly speaking, he can die, but is just immediately revived -- and if the Death Note kills and cannot be obstructed, what happens if Jack's name gets written in the Death Note? It's sort of like in math... if everything times zero is zero, and if everything times infinity is infinity, what do you get if you multiply zero and infinity? (In terms of math, though, the answer can be any number of things, depending on why you're calculating it. XD)
I canNOT draw John Barrowman (Jack)... I'm so sorry!! >_< So instead, you get a vaguely Jack-like chibi cartoony thing. I had the whole thing written and layed out and Ryuk drawn and everything, but since I got stuck on Jack, I left it alone for months, until I decided to compromise Jack's accuracy.

Another scenario: Jacks immortality is sustained by the time vortex. The stuff that erased whole Dalek fleets and even the timecards hat to be careful around. If Ryuk was to absorb even a fraction of it, who knows what would happen. Maybe he would live forever, but he could also just explode. Or he is retroactively erased from history. Who knows. (except for the timecards mabe)

I like Ryuk being able to live forever. That way, maybe he can eventually find a human to fall in love with. Or get married to an apple tree, til death do them part. Since trees are nigh-immortal too. It'd be the perfect wedding!

Scenario 1. The Death Note cannot be used on people who are under 780 days old or over 123 years old. Jack Harkness is over 170, and isn't going to be born for another 3000 years

Actually, Scenario One would probably happen in the case of the Nameless One, since the book would probably require a valid name...

Okay I have thought long and hard about this and I'm going to say number two. Since the death note kills cannot be obstructed Jack would in fact die, however as the creator has pointed out Jack's immortality operates on a sort of reset basis. He dies then resets back to life regardless of the cause of death (unless we count the Face of Boe but that depends on if the rumours are true). So therefore if Jack's name is written in the Death Note he would most likely die and them come back like every other death. The Death Note doesn't specify that those who's name Β is written will stay dead and if we count the pilot version of Death Note with the death eraser then number 2 becomes more and more likely. However with Jack Harkness in mind is it one name one kill which would be scenario number 2 or is it one name death which would sadly be number four. Also since Jack has faced death itself (series 2) and come back and Ryuk is like a Grim Reaper scenario 2 is becoming more and more definite. However Scenario three raises a good point with Death gods having a finite life span of sorts and they kill to sap the life off of humans. So perhaps what we would get then is maybe a combination of Scenario two and three, Jack would die and Ryuk would get a good portion of life force from him ranging from one to infinity maybe and then Jack would come back to life. This could result in a humours Scenario 6 where all the Gods of Death write Jack's name in their notebooks to get some of his infinite life...however that could be too much strain on Jack's fixed point status and then we get Scenario 5. Right that's my logical rant over and if someone actually read this congratulations, you've indulged a bored britsh nerd, good for you

It actually wouldn't work. The Death Note can only kill those who are between three and 122 years of age. Biologically Jack Harkness is well over 122, and chronologically he's negative 3000 years old, since he comes from the 51st century

Scenario 6: Jack flirts with Ryuk until the end of time. Thus, it is far more plausible and canon-like.

Scenario 2.5 would happen. RTD considers the Face of Boe as Jack's future self. The Face of Boe died, so he'd stay dead and Ryuk would live another 5 BILLION YEARS

Yeah number 5 where it would make a paradox because Jack must live, because that is what Rose wanted and she controlled all of time and space, but the death god kills and that is the end of it. So PARADOX

As for which may happen...I dunno...but due to Ryuk's quite funny reactions my vote would be for either 2 or 3...but since I love Jack far too much to see him go...2 it is!

Scenario 6: The Doctor comes and saves the day by chucking Apples a Ryuk (He keeps getting the chucked at him why not make use of them -Joke is as follows a Apple a day keeps the Doctor very pissed off getting apples throw at his head!-) steels death note , but dose not throw it into a sun or black hole or simply burning it but keeping it in his TARDIS so that (regenerations) later A companion finds it and Fucks everything up..... If the Master Dosn't find it 1st... then ..ohhh hell!
