For the Happy Ending Art Jam Happy Ending Art Jam!With the outcome of The Clone Wars Season Five and the rumors surrounding Rebels Season Two, there's a lot of talk and depiction of a future for Barriss Offee that is far darker than Order 66. Let's come together and change the tone with some art in the style of 'the good old days' where good prevails and love conquers all!
Objective:
For this art jam, you are challenged to create a new deviation featuring Barriss Offee and Ahsoka Tano at some point after the end of the Clone Wars series where they are together and happy. What sort of happy ending Barrissoka has is up to you. They could be enjoying a warm cup of tea snuggled together on a couch, or fighting for freedom side by side along with the crew of the Ghost! Use your imagination and, most importantly, have fun!

Art Jam ends September 18th, 2015 Submit entries to the Art Jams and ContestsSo, this is Barriss Offee and Ahsoka Tano in some sort of multiverse where Barriss never betrayed the Jedi Order, Ahsoka never left the Jedi Order, the Clone Wars just ended diplomatically, and Palpatine is defeated. I had a few ideas for this art jam, but they were all too big (comic strips and fan fictions). I shelved a few of the ideas and I might return to them later. For getting something done in time for the art jam, this will have to do. I hope you like it.

I try to comment on every picture you made and I know I haven't really been doing that the last year, because a lot has happened. Not your problem, just thought I should mention it. Now I got some time on my hand and I most importantly wanted to comment on this picture, which I left out. I know I commented on others, but this one was just too important to not comment on.
The idea of an alternate reality is one I've played much with. Right now I'm writing a short-novel with my wife of a character set in an alternate reality, placing him in a sort of Mad Max setting, though I avoid copying things from Mad Max. But about the picture itself, cause I'm drifting off. I really like the rich detail on both costumes, especially on Ashoka's, though I doubt the Jedi would care for their attire to be so detailed lol. Then again, why the hell not? It's an alternate universe after all. The way both characters are portrayed is very serene and loving. It's a really nice portrayal of both characters in a romantic way, though not OTT, which I like. The setting reminds me of Naboo. It has that elegance to it, which suits with what the render is about and what message it brings. I would have made it not so grey in the background, though I must admit I'm struggling myself what would be a good colour to replace it with.
All in all, a good solid 9/10 from me.

I like the outfits, it's a bit different compared to common Jedi outfits but I like it.
I also like the idea of Barriss' outfit without a hood, it's a bit strange for a Mirialan, but hey, I don't mind

I can see there a contentment between two friends or lovers, looking upon Coruscant, maybe in AU, where The Clone Wars ended by Jedi winning. I wish thst happened, though :-;

Upon looking at this work, I see a very happy and content couple. Ahsoka's outfit seems rather ornate, without crossing over to garish. The Jedi symbol on their bracers is a nice touch, as well.
The outfit colors on both of them match them to a tee. I would hazard a guess that they might be on planet other than Coruscant. A solid 10 out of 10 with this, my friend, its been hit out of the park
and will burn up on re-entry. Will be making this my screensaver and faving.

I haven't really shipped Barriss with anyone cause of the betrayal story but I ship Ashoka with Anakin 100% lol. It's just something about them xD.

I've seen a fair amount of Anisoka content on DA. I don't care for Skywalkers in general, but I must confess that Anisoka makes a lot more sense than Anidala. Padme and Anakin have no chemistry at all.
Barriss is my favorite character in Star Wars. If this render isn't proof enough, I'm sort of in denial that season five ever happened

yeah there is an average amount of Anisoka content and I like most of them lol. I hate Padme and Anakin as well so we have that in common. I have your same mentality but towards season 6 because of how it made the Jedi seem so much more incompetent.

In my disgustingly optimistic AU canon where this render takes place, Ahsoka is Luke's and Leia's godmother. Since Barriss and Ahsoka are together in this canon, they both have fairly active roles in the raising of the twins.

Beautiful job with there outfits! Both are very ornate, and also custom looking. I not sure how much you did there, but they look great. A nice peacful moment for a happy ending... Until vader finds out.

People seem to really be liking their outfits. I'm very glad because I did do a lot of customizing to their textures, especially Barriss'. I might have to do more using these looks. If anything, it will make the work that I put into them more worthwhile.
