Description
Dazai Souta, the younger brother to Dazai Osamu. A 14 year old boy, he lost his parents and oldest brother in a car accident at around 10. He blames himself as he got knocked out so couldn't help them. His parents and oldest brother were abusive towards him, but he still feels like he owed them to try and save them.

His ability is "A Brief Inquiry into the Natural Rights of Man", though when referencing it he just calls it "The Rights of Man". His ability lets him view and take memories from people and objects. When he takes them he also takes the consequences of them. For people they CAN access the memory still but only vaguely in the sense of "Oh yeah it was this situation and I got hurt/something bad happened" or so on. No concretes. He can use this ability to heal people as by removing the memory of taking the injury, he removes the injury. Downside being he sees and experiences the memory as he takes it from the point of view of the person, feeling whatever they felt and went through. Same with objects. He then releases the memory from his mouth in snatches others can see. He knows the memories aren't his so keeps his sense of self, but he still feels like he experienced all that trauma. He can also view memories without taking them.

Because his ability only works with touch, even though he can choose to activate it or not, he still keeps most of his skin covered so as to not make people think he's going to view their memories or take them. It also has the VERY USEFUL side effect of hiding his Self Harm scars and injuries. Though it should be noted the bandages on his head and the eyepatch are for a reason. His eye, while still technically there, is blind and a mess, badly damaged in the wreck, to the point that it easily get's reinjured as well. The bandages are to hide scarring on his forehead from the wreck as well.

Having been abused and mistreated all his life, neglect before Osamu left and then outright abuse after, he suffers from severe Depression, PTSD, and in general Massive Guilt. He does have Suicidal Ideation but feels he can't die till he wipes the blood from his hands by helping people. The start of that blood being his family's deaths in the car wreck. Then he ended up in a Military School as an experiment and ended up with more on his hands, so he feels he has a lot to make up for.

He CANNOT heal himself with his ability, nor the dead. SH's from both Depression and from feeling like he needs to be hurt from the memories of his ability. It's a mix.
