How are they born :
-They are born naturally when magical cherry blossom touches the ground.
-Some Sakuramimis were human who died at a young age, but the magical cherry blossom revived them. The animal/creature they thought in their mind often will be with them as a kemonomimi feature. They also retain their human appearance when they got revived. Tend to still have their memories since their old body is still intact.
- There are some cases like animals rebirthed as a Sakuramimi existed too, even though it was pretty rare for that to happen. Even it did happen , chances for them to remember everything is literally impossible. They either lose all of them or got a little bit back. Depending o
