Here I am just testing them out by drawing a quick headshot of Aki. ^^
(Oops- this was the first time ever that I used my scanner so I accidentally cut off Aki's necklace... oh well. XD)

OMG you have prismacolor pencils? D: Baaaw I'd really love to have some of them one day, I have another brand of coloured pencil which is a little better to the usual [link] but Prisma's appear to be so much more popular

You can buy them at most art stores. They aren't too expensive if you get the cheaper kind (what I have, lol).
