Description
The mosque of Cordoba represents (together with the Alambra) the greatness of Islamic art in Spain. Walking through the mosque makes you think of a forest of colourful palm trees. It's a wonderful sensation! Perspective was quite challenging but I think I managed to achieve it pretty well. I combined acrylics (for the darker parts) and watercolors (for the shimmering tiled floor).Hope this painting will convince you to go and visit the mosque of Cordoba
