Description
Sol Invictus, the unconquerable sun. This is the main elemental spirit of the bunch. He is Akasha's chosen firstborn.Anyway! Something I plan on making a better one of - but I've been doing these speed paintings to practice.

Wow, that's an amazing piece of art! You did a fantastic job of combining the image of the sun with a lion. Also, I think it's really impressive how you aren't like some people who go craaaazy when one thing of theirs is the same as someone elses. Although it is really annoying if people are copying you.

Wonderful character design! The sheer brightness and wisps in the mane are wonderful touches!
I don't want to sound abitrary or defensive by saying this but to me a lion with a brilliant mane for a sun god seems an obvious choice. I won't presume to think of myself as so important or talented that I was one of the people you were referring to as a "rip off" but I chose a lion for my sun god as well for PAINTED!...

No, the rip-offs are people with elemental animals called specifically "Guardians" that just so happen to have similar backstories (Ie dark goddess vs light goddess, light goddess sending down her elemental "guardians" to protect her people on the planet she made, blah blah blah). I know some of these choices seem common, but you think someone who had already seen and read my comic would choose something different.
