Roots: His offense/defense ability. Aleksei can control the roots that grow on him and on the ground. Using it to form to barriers and act as a support to his partner. Since it works as part of him, it has a limit in range at his current level and if it is cut, he'll feel excruciating pain.
Bud of the forest blessings: Healing ability where he detaches one of the flowers from his antlers or roots and throws them or gently plant them on the wounds of their allies. It seals up the injury by growing into a thin layer of healing medicine. He cannot heal critical injuries but it will heal injuries that aren't life threatening.

Personality |
Aleksei is a person who has temper issues and is generally grumpy 24/7. It takes persistence to persuade him to do anything. He is easily irritated, and can be quite straightforward. Although, underneath his grumpy and cold persona, exists a person who is unable to be honest to himself. Through the years he had built up a wall that blocks out anyone who had attempted to get him to express his true feelings. He is a bit sentimental, letting his emotions take his place and direct his course of action. Usually this is expressed through his anger. He is quiet and keeps to himself, a man of few words. Aleksei easily cares for those who are smaller but on the contrary he is just as easily able to flip face and show his cold, distant side. Aleksei is a lot calmer with people he is used to, but has an almost permanent scowl on.

History |
  Aleksei was born deep into the fairy’s forest where mist surrounds and acts like a barrier border between the world of man and the world of the woodland creatures. His parents were Leshies being hunted by occult groups believing in the healing that the skin of a leshy could give as medicine. As they escaped into the fairy's forest, Aleksei's parents left the young leshy by the Old Tree. Since he was still young and looked just like a human, the creatures of the forest was wary of him. He didn't understand what his existence was and no one would tell him. This caused the child Leshy to become temperamental and cause mischief within the forest until a group of faeries decided to take him in.
  At the start he was very rebellious but slowly he warms up to the faeries since he wasn't stupid to not realize that they truly care for him despite his grumpy and temperamental self. His days went by with the woodland creatures slowly opening up to the unusual boy whose parents are faeries. Slowly letting go of the confusion and self consciousness that he felt about his rather normal “human” look; the leshy child was able to come to an understanding once he continued to interact with the forest's’ residents.
  During his teens, Aleksei wandered out of the barrier and into the part of the forest where the protection doesn’t reach. There he met the son of the couple who lives in a cottage by the forest’s edge. He was fascinated by the son, Ilya, who makes ceramic items. Aleksei would peek from behind the trees and watch Ilya work on making pots and various other sculptures. He continued this routine for days until, Ilya noticed and invited him in. The couple instantly took a liking into Aleksei and treated him just with as much warmth as they did their real son. Although Aleksei was nervous and had no idea how to deal with this situation, Ilya taught him the basics from the beginning. To him, Ilya was like a big brother and for the first time aside from the faeries, he smiled and laughed. The days where the child leshy felt lost had faded with the addition of his foster human family.
  He began going between the forest family and the foster human family. From the folklores book in Ilya’s house, Aleksei learns more about the creatures that reside in the woodlands and about himself. He eventually figures out that he was a Leshy. On a stormy day, thunder rang and lightning struck at the forest, Aleksei went out against the wishes of his parents and foster brother. He notices a tree was on fire after being struck by lightning with a group of squirrels stuck in it- in an attempt to save his forest brethrens, Aleksei tried to reach through the flames. He was having a hard time to balance due to the winds, but through the help of Ilya who came after him, he rescued the family of squirrels with it’s parents and two little ones.
  However, while traveling back towards the house, a strong wind blew and made Aleksei lose balance, Ilya grabs hold of him and flings him back while in turn falls into the river instead. The currents were fast and strong, so Ilya was unable to be saved. He became convinced that the reason that Ilya died was due to his honesty with his own feelings, he was a mythos and Ilya was a human, maybe they weren’t meant to be a family after all. The gods above punished him for even letting the peace go on for so long. He returns to the cottage once the storm has passed and told his foster parents the news, though they were sad, they did not blame him and Aleksei could not understand why they didn’t.
  Years pass as Aleksei retreated back into the forest where the Old tree lies. Occasionally appearing with his foster family, until he matured and manages to activate his Leshy forms. His human parents eventually passed away from old age and left Aleksei the cottage as his own.
  More years pass with Aleksei as the protector of his forest, one day a rogue rampages in the forest and harmed many woodland creatures in the process. Aleksei out of rage battled against the rogue but ended with the large burn scar on his face. Many were badly injured, and he did not wish to see it happen again so he decided to join the chancel as a cleric.

-Butterflies and other small creatures like to nest or stick to him
