Verdict/Comments: For those who don't know, Your Name is a Japanese anime movie that was released in a Japan a few months back and is currently screening in Singapore GV cinemas. I strongly urge everyone to go and watch it. Even if you are not into anime, at least give it a try. I promise you will not regret it. The movie is from Makoto Shinkai, the person who was behind movies such as 5cm/s, Garden of Words and Voices Of A Distant Star. Hence you can expect the visuals and animation to be excellent. Some of the scenes are based off ACTUAL REAL LIFE places and these places are places of significant Japanese culture and heritage. The movie has also been reviewed by sources such as BBC, Straits Times and Yahoo SG and all have given it a postive review.

Anyway, back to the drawing. There were a lot of blur parts in the original drawing hence most of the time I was using my imagination to draw some parts. The flora aspect was hard to draw accurately hence I had to use a bit (read ALOT) of originality to draw the trees and grass. Also, the clouds and sky were hard to draw because of the sunset shading etc so I had to come up with some new parts which still gave the same effect as the original. Mistakes wise, I think I messed up the allocation of space for each character. :/ Just doing one Makoto Shinkai level of scenery and I legit shag out LOL (I wasn't even close to making it accurate it pls). Really dk how he manages 107min worth of such beautiful scenery IN FRAMES.
