Biography

Setting Surmise is the youngest and last child of the SunSparkle family, since she nearly killed Sunset while pregnant. Nopony suspected an artificial alicorn could carry on the alicorn gene, and Sunset suffered greatly because of it since the fetus fed upon her magic to develop the magical prowess of an alicorn. Even after many tense hours of labor, the two made it out safely, but magically stunted, Sunset completely drained and having to wait a whole year before she could even use basic levitation.

Surmise grew up with minor health problems, but her magical stamina cut short, so she only had a small amount of magic to use before she had to recharge, leaving her self-loathing. She feels guilty of her mothers near fatal pregnancy and a burden of not being as powerful as expected of the daughter of Celestia's two best students.

Talent

Setting Surmise has the talent to glance into a possible event in the future of someponys life. Said event can vary from a future loss, death, danger, or future guidance, or fortune. Nothing is set in stone however, and the entire vision can prove non-existent if the pony does not follow the path up to that moment. Doing this will drain her limited magic as well for a few hours.

Occupation

She has no clear occupation as of yet, but acts as an occasional seer at times for ponies in need.
