Here's a very pink harpy. Don't let the girly colors fool you, piss her off and she'll rip you to pieces.I'm spending my valentine alone drawing so everything I get from this I'll use to buy chocolate to make me feel better about it.

I was thinking I could try drawing more traditional ones sometime, these mine aren't the usual kind xD But I like them.

I haven't done anything traditional in a long time! I mostly see these kitsune and tengu that have been very modernized.Β

do you re-use your line art? or do you make new ones every time?

Only ones I've re used is when I do the chess harpies cause. tho I might do different line art for the queens ( I'll leave the queens last cause harpies are originally female makes more sense, also queen is more useful xD)
Else I've designed and drawn new line art for all the other harpies. I think they're more special and unique that way.Β

ooo, that makes sense! I'm still kinda new at this adoptable thing, though I guess with animals it doesn't matter but with more mythical creatures I can see making a new line art would be great! XD
I like Tengu because they are male. I have a hard time drawing female for some reason...

well yeah I haven't done this either that long, only reason I've made so many already is that I have a lot of time xD I just try Β making my adopt the kind I'd like to adopt.
Oh yeah I can't draw human like females at all, but my harpies just have the mask face that most of the time is kinda feminine if it isn't a full helmet and the have lady hips, else they could be males as well. Β I think the only one that had actual breasts was the geisha crane one. Β

I like the idea of the mask I've seen alot of adopts have them. for me it would bbe e a very creative way to get out of Β drawing faces (I'm such a lazy person...) I may try that with the tengu.Β
