Description
That sinking feelingThe slow creeping essence
Of knowing you're alone.
The little bug on it's perilous
Journey against the world
Climbing over vast mountains
Trying to fly in spite of
The thick air.
Like some cruel plot has been
Schemed and contemplated against it
The captain of the universe,
And all the stars are mutinous.
But even the worm is determined
As it crawls across the scorching pavement
It knows it will either die,
Or get to the other side.
