▪ Personality ▪

Aria is a strong and independent woman in her middle 20's, icy to most of her colleagues and only warm to those who have gained her trust. She holds a lady-like grace and flair, making her look pompous and yet charming to some. She has this normal serious face on and will take a conversation, even if it is obviously a joke, to heart. Be warned for those who work with her. Her colleagues find her callous because of her meticulous and conscientious attitude towards her work, and she expects the same from others. At some times she can be modest, if the field is not her own, but she still remains a perfectionist. Repeated mistakes will earn the person a smack with her fan. She is hardly shy nor modest, as she believes in the phrase "If you got it, flaunt it", something her mother had taught her although she doesn't have that much for the chest or the bum though rofl.

Aria can be quite competitive, if the other sparks her interest, but she will choose to be passive if she knows it is not worth her time. She still cares for her family, despite some years' separation, sending in mail and video messages or attending any of their performances. If not doing anything, she tends to daydream and muse to herself while having tea or jot down on her journal. She doesn't take anything at face value, as she wants to dwell on the deeper meaning of things.

If given the chance, she would like to chat more with people of different backgrounds, as the world outside her circle still leaves her rather mystified. Aria can be a stickler for traditions, but she is learning to be more open-minded to changes in life. Most importantly, she is very determined once she has set her goals in mind, such as going beyond boundaries.

Music still remains her passion, so she can still be found doing short dance steps when alone or play classical tunes in her flat. And speaking of her flat, please do not mess or make it dirty. She likes both her workplace and her home to be all spic and span, that she does spring-cleaning every weekend. As much as she can be good at keeping her househould, she is not a good cook. Most of her meals are already bought or she just eats outside at bistros or restaurants. Fast food makes her ill, so no to fast food.

TLDR: Aria is the only daughter of a family of performers but has moved to White City, not to perform but for her personal reasons.

Hailing from Camphrier Town, Aria's family is a noble bloodline of performers, with skills ranging from singing, dancing, musical instruments, etc. Her parents, Vanessa and Aleq Edgeworth, had worked together in several performances, as the dancer and her choreographer. They began dating when Vanessa starred as the leading role in "Swan Lake", and they became a sensation from there. Thus, people would mostly remember her because of "Swan Lake", and dubbed her the Swan Queen, much to her annoyance. Her father, Aleq, on the other hand, worked as a choreographer for his town’s theatre students, with his wife as his dancing partner.

Expectations were a common occurrence for this family's descendants. The more prestige it would bring, the better. Aria is the third child among 6 siblings, 5 boys and 1 girl. Her brothers had their own personal and unique skills, and see each other as friendly competition. Thus, Aria grew up in a competitive world, not only among her peers but also among her own siblings. In her point of view, her brothers can be over-bearing and also overly passive, depending on who she speaks with. Despite all this, the family stuck together as a flock and had lived happily in their manor on top of the hill.

However, as Aria turned 10, her mother had been diagnosed with a terminal illness, leaving her unable to perform and thus, ending her career. This caused a major depression for the entire household, even more so after her mother died. The family did their best to cope and continue on in her memory. Aria, vowing to her mother's grave, took ballet as her field of expertise and continued where her mother had left off. She trained as a ballet dancer even before she entered high school. Aria furthered her studies by taking a Dance Program in another town’s university, leading to her attaining a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Dance, Major in Ballet. She was well on her way of becoming a famous performer, but she changed her directions after a night of one of her performances.

She met an old friend of her parents, a Noctowl, Professor Neville Vinesett. This Noctowl was a university professor and was currently based in White City, and that he had squeezed time to visit Camphrier Town as part of his ongoing project. Her parents had actually helped in sponsoring some of his research projects and he was hoping to pay his respects, after learning of what happened to her mother. He told Aria that if she or any of her family members would like to visit them, he would be glad to be of any assistance.

After processing through everything she had, Aria made a bold decision to stop everything and join Professor Neville in White City, with several goals, and even questions, in her mind. What those are, still unknown, even to the said professor.

After 2 years of training, she is currently working as a research associate under Professor Neville, dealing with anti-proliferative effects of medicinal herbs. She still remains a proud lady but mingles with a couple of her colleagues. She may not have taken science as her background, but she still values the experience she achieves while working in the laboratory. Even with her change in career, from time to time, she joins a nearby hobby center when they do ballet. Here, she acts as an amateur just to watch and perform, rather than teach (as she has no patience for teaching children). She currently lives in a classy flat, thanks to the savings she had as a performer. Her lifestyle is still somewhat similar to her day-to-day's back at Camphrier, but she is still adapting. Still adapting.

▪ An interesting note. In Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, von Rothbart hardly appears as a human and comes in the acts as an owl. A Noctowl took a Swanna away from her family... supposedly? It sounded cooler in my head, sorry
  ▪ The sleeves of her jacket do end in feathers, mimicking wings. When she poses normally, she tends to fold her hand outward, just like her pokemon counterpart. She can remove them, but she feels naked if so.
  ▪ She is very fond of hot tea and cold sweets, and dislikes spicy food and fast food.
  ▪ Aria believes in speed. And that is one thing she would like with partners.
