I haven't seen either the original or 4Kids versons (I saw one episode of One Piece in German, though. I am guessing it was a dubbed original one). But reading through this, it seems quite a crime what 4Kids have done to the series. Since when have kids' things had to cut out deaths? C'mon, look at Bambi and the Lion King!

Exactly. :3 Death is an important part of realizing stuff and growing up. Sheesh...and the show is kinda about growing up.
They even cut more parts that were like..."too emotional". Like a really sad part with a whale...aww.
