Studio!This is a shot of Mister Joseph Pluchino (Photographer + my teacher!)
: in case you're wondering that piece of paper taped to the tripod was part of a conceptual series that i was attempting to photograph (didnt work out that well), anyway it's a photocopied picture of someone pouring the developer out of the developing tank :

haha, I have him as a teacher right now - he "quit smoking" but I wanted to do a portrait of him as well.

Absolutely lovely shot, its taken well, its posed well and the cropping is just right. I looks just a teeny bit washed out, perhaps fiddling with the gamma/contrast could sort that? Otherwise its brilliant, in fact - its a fav.

i love the the lighting and that composition.. this photo manages to speak so much about the subject .. though it seems simple.
