"Aracos! Can you move? Whatever's happening, it's made your divine light really unstable!!" Altam ran to their side. "L-Let me help you! Just hold on, please..."

Before he could reach the Milletian, he collapsed to his knees gasping for breath-- "Th-this is... Ar...Aracos?" As Altam tried to steady himself, he felt his strength leaving him, a void beginning to form within him, "My divine light! Why...?" Shock and humiliation paint the knight's face. "My divine light was... pulled out of me into you. It's just like what happened to the other knights in the rift..."

He curses to himself, as the other's around them begin to realize what is happening to the party-- his gear feels so heavy now.

Aracos watches in horror as the rest of the party falls; Merlin first, cursing himself of having failed to protect them in the first place, then Piran-- killed by his own sister who he thought he could convince to stop it all, and finally Enya as she realized what it was that her patron had showed her in her dreams-- Lymilark had shown her the ushering of chaos onto Erinn and this was just the beginning.

Their world was shattering before them.

"A...Aracos..." his voice briefly breaks through the still air, "I... I'm here for you. I'm right here..."

At this point Aracos' vision was too hazy to see anything but vague shapes, but they could still feel Altam's presence as he reached out towards them with what little strength he had left.
