OMG! How elitist! O___O;This applies to all forms of writing and everyone out there who wants to half-ass their work in whatever way. Then there is my contempt for the genre based almost entirely on the Internetz: fanfiction. That is, poor fanfiction. Self-insertion is BAD. Mary/Gary Sue/Stu is BAD. Inserting inappropriate romaji (i.e. REEH?! She's so KOWAII!) into your English fanfiction is a CRIME punishable by DEATH (at least, I will strive to make it that way). I wish more people would respect a character's (or a real person's--!)original sexual orientation. What is it with making everyone gay or lesbian? Or ' pairings' with four or five people? I'm not even going to touch crossovers. Too many people out there wouldn't know ' plausible' if it slapped them in the face and then set their lovely fanfiction on fire.
There is role playing too, but this rant is getting too long.
So now I have a stamp, the product of my general contempt for poor writing, whether it's horrid grammar or immature content. Whee.

I know, right? Like, the Mortal Kombat X fanbase criticizes Kung JinxCassie Cage for making a gay character(Kung Jin, that is) straight, yet they don't criticize Kung JinxErron Black, even though Erron Black is probably straight, given one of his intro towards Sonya where he says "Girls with guns, always hot". Not to mention that even if Erron Black happens to be bi, Kung Jin is a good guy and Erron Black is a bad guy.
But to be fair, many fictional characters were never confirmed to be straight.

Dude, she's talking about writing online. It's really not that different than writing on paper and what they're basically saying is that people need to write like it would at least pass a high school English class. Either do that or don't write at all. Because if you can't follow those basic rules, then what's the point of writing or for anyone to read what you wrote. It's just an eyesore and no one wants to see that, including me. She made this stamp for people who take writing seriously, so if you don't like it, you should just go somewhere else.
